Summer Sports - Registration is Open

Summer 3v3 Outdoor Basketball

Take your game outside this summer with our Summer 3v3 Outdoor Basketball Program! This co-ed program is a fun and energetic way for players to build skills, stay active, and enjoy the game in a team-focused environment.

The 3v3 format gives players more touches, more space, and more opportunities to develop confidence, decision-making, and overall basketball IQ. Led by supportive coaches, each session includes skill development, organized games, and plenty of action to keep players engaged and improving.

Led by enthusiastic volunteer coaches, each session includes age-appropriate drills, games, and plenty of encouragement to help players develop at their own pace. Get in the game this summer with our Summer Flag Football Program! This co-ed program is a fun, fast-paced way for kids to learn the fundamentals of football in a safe, non-contact environment. Players will build skills like passing, catching, running routes, and teamwork—all while staying active and having a blast.

Our coaches create a positive and encouraging atmosphere where athletes of all experience levels can grow their confidence and understanding of the game. Each session includes skill-building drills, mini-games, and scrimmage play tailored to each age group.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of volleyball—including passing, serving, and teamwork—through fun drills and games designed for all skill levels. Playing in the sand adds an exciting twist while helping build coordination, strength, and confidence.

Introduce your child to the game of golf with our Summer Daytime Intro to Golf Program! This co-ed program uses the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) system—an engaging, beginner-friendly approach that focuses on fun, repetition, and skill development through games that can be played on any surface.

Participants ages 5–8 will learn key golf fundamentals such as putting and chipping through creative activities designed to build confidence and early success. This program is perfect for beginners or those looking to continue developing their skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Saturday Morning Basketball

Join us for our Saturday Morning Youth Basketball Program—a fun and engaging way for kids to learn the game, build confidence, and stay active! This co-ed program is designed for players from Pre-K through 3rd grade and focuses on developing fundamental skills in a positive, supportive environment.

Each Saturday session begins with 15 minutes of skill-building, where players learn the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork through fun drills and activities. Participants then transition into scrimmage games on their assigned courts, giving them the opportunity to apply their skills and experience game play.

Players will focus on fundamental basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork through fun, engaging drills and games. Each session wraps up with scrimmage play, helping participants apply what they’ve learned while developing spacing, teamwork, and game awareness.

Futsal (indoor Soccer) with Brainerd United Soccer Club

Build skills, confidence, and a love for the game in our Youth Soccer Development Program! In partnership with the Brainerd United Soccer Club, this co-ed program focuses on player development in a fun, supportive environment for athletes in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Each session begins with interactive activities designed to improve individual skills and teamwork, followed by small-sided games that help players apply what they’ve learned in a game setting. Training sessions are led by varsity-level high school players and coaches, along with a YMCA program coordinator—creating a unique and engaging learning experience for all participants.

Gymnastics Programs

Gymnastics

Flip, jump, and build confidence in our Youth Gymnastics Program! These classes are designed to help participants grow in strength, flexibility, focus, and confidence—all while having fun in a supportive environment.

Gymnasts will learn and practice foundational skills such as cartwheels, backbends, walkovers, handstands, jumps, and leaps. Our coach will work to meet each participant at their individual skill level, helping them progress at their own pace. Participants will also be introduced to basic skills on vault, bars, and beam, giving them a well-rounded gymnastics experience.

These classes focus on building proper fundamentals while encouraging confidence, growth, and a love for the sport!
