UPDATE: Due to scheduled road construction, the 2026 Kids Triathlon has been canceled.
2026 YMCA Kids Triathlon Update
The Brainerd Family YMCA has made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Kids Triathlon.
Ongoing road construction and closures along our established bike course have made it impossible to provide a safe and practical route for participants. After evaluating several alternatives, we determined that none met the safety standards we expect for our events.
While we're disappointed not to host the event this year, the safety of our young athletes will always come first. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to bringing the Kids Triathlon back in 2027.
